2021 was a busy year for the Two Birds crew, with many barn reclamations, builds, and installs; making this list was tricky to narrow down. Travelling and shipping products throughout both the province and the country, the Two Birds crew put on a lot of miles.
We have selected our Top 5 using different criteria, including design, number of likes the project received, and our teams experience.
The year started with an addition of many new barn door styles to our repertoire. With over 30 different standard styles and in 20 different standard finish options, your barn door choices seem endless. With this new style starting our countdown off in one of our new 2021 finishes -weathered fir this new build was an incredible showcase of options that are available.
An upscale boutique meets creative geometric texture. Custom desk details, finished in a warm colour, complemented with our Classical Glass doors in a two-tone finish, make this local boutique one of the top 5 of the year easily!
Another fun basement designed to entertain! More feature walls showcased in this bright space. Starting with our Tudor - reclaimed core to enhance the wet bar, moving to the games area with a reflected Chevron pattern at this cool bar space. Anchored with a vertical Ebony pillar and floating bar for all the entertaining.
This basement blew our minds with the fun design aspect of it. The client let us get a touch creative with the feature wall accents in this space. Starting with our standard cladding to accent the wine storage (shown in a weathered fir finish) to the fun slatting black on black details of the ceiling. This basement is a showstopper!
And the BEST OF # 1 goes to the incredible projects(s) that we have been a part of all year. Revitalizing and revamping this luxury getaway just a few hours west in Lake Louise. Baker Creek Mountain Resort challenged our creativity and project coordination, by adding new (old) features within this beautiful site. Stay tuned for more of this project moving into 2022!
